When should Botox treatment be considered?

There is no single age at which aesthetic botulinum toxin treatment should begin. In adults, assessment includes lines at rest and during facial movement, the skin, personal wishes and possible risks. Starting preventively on the basis of age alone is not a general recommendation.

A medical consultation establishes whether treatment would be appropriate at all, or whether other options or no treatment would be a better fit. A natural, expressive face is the aesthetic focus at Mc Aesthetics. Setting goals means considering lines in a way that suits the person, without treating a rigid or completely smooth face as an ideal.

How soon does Botox work on forehead lines?

The effect of botulinum toxin develops over the days following injection. An appropriate follow-up appointment is arranged for a reliable assessment. Onset, strength and duration vary with the product, dose and individual response. Neither a particular result after exactly 48 hours nor a peak effect reached only after three months can be promised as a general rule.

Personal experience

Personal accounts can offer insight into expectations and recovery. They do not allow firm conclusions about your own outcome. The main considerations are your clinical findings, the chosen method, clear explanations and reliable aftercare. When viewing photographs, consider how they were taken and how much time had passed since treatment.

How long do the effects of botulinum toxin last?

The effects of botulinum toxin develop over several days. When they can be properly assessed depends on the product, the treated area and the individual response. The effects are temporary and may last for several months; no fixed duration applies to every use.

Muscle activity and lines can change again over time. Before any repeat treatment, the effect, any symptoms and the current findings are assessed. Follow-up appointments and further treatment intervals depend on the medical plan and product information.

At what age might Botox treatment be considered?

This information about purely aesthetic treatments is intended for adults. Minors require a separate specialist assessment and consideration of the legal requirements. Parental consent alone does not establish medical suitability. Reaching adulthood does not automatically make treatment appropriate either.
