Lip images taken immediately after injection also show temporary reactions. They cannot reliably predict the later shape. At Mc Aesthetics, the focus is on your own lips, smile and harmony with your face.

Not a treatment result. Sliders express visual preferences; they do not assess your anatomy or suitability. Your own photos are not altered. The photo and contact guide continues in German. You can write your enquiry in English.

Swelling, photography and actual change

When comparing images, check timing, lighting, lip position and make-up. Pursed lips or another viewpoint can create an impression of fullness. Previous filler also matters to assessment. A specific amount of product cannot reliably be identified from a photograph and does not create the same shape in different people.

Describe what matters to you in consultation: contour, balance between upper and lower lip, movement or a small change. Another person’s photograph is not a template that must be copied. A visualisation is also only a conversation aid; it proves neither a treatment outcome nor its achievability.

Possibilities and limitations

Hyaluronic acid fillers can temporarily alter contours and volume. Possible side effects include swelling, bruising and infection. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause serious complications, including tissue damage and visual impairment.

Aftercare and everyday life

Recovery and the return to normal activity depend on the treatment and your individual healing process. Swelling, bruising and discomfort may occur. Your treating doctor will explain aftercare and when you can resume everyday activities and exercise.
