Hands, pen and notebook for preparing personal questions
Illustration · not a treatment result

Before-and-after images of six-pack surgery can shape expectations. Meaningful interpretation requires comparable photography, the initial anatomy and the stage of healing. Mc Aesthetics has offered six-pack surgery since 2013. Our aim is natural-looking definition that fits your own anatomy.

What makes an image comparison meaningful?

Lighting, camera angle, distance and muscle tension change the appearance of abdominal lines. Clothing and posture can also hide transitions. Comparisons need similar conditions and a clear date. Heavily edited photos and AI images are not treatment evidence. The illustrative images on this website do not show surgical results.

Early images do not show the settled contour

After surgery, swelling, bruising and temporary tissue firmness may affect appearance. A single photo immediately after the procedure cannot reliably describe the later course. Ask when it was taken and whether further treatments took place. Follow-up also assesses wound healing and symptoms.

Four questions for every comparison image.

  1. Same lighting?

Shadows can make contours look stronger.

  2. Same posture?

Muscle tension and camera angle change the impression.

  3. When was it taken?

Swelling and healing matter when interpreting it.

  4. What is its origin?

Distinguish documentation, edited photos and illustrations.

Your anatomy remains the reference

Six-pack surgery changes selected fat distributions beneath the skin. It does not build muscles or create any desired muscle pattern. Skin, muscles, weight and healing differ between people. Discuss the desired change in relation to your own examination. Natural transitions and balanced proportions matter more than copying another body.

Images complement informed consent

Plastic surgery requires clear discussion of alternatives, scars, contour irregularities and other risks. An appealing comparison image does not remove these questions. The main topic page provides studies and a chart of reported complications. A personal enquiry can help prepare an examination and consultation.
